Joyneus Web Application Terms of Use

Welcome to Joyneus! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Joyneus web application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using Joyneus, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Accounts & Roles

Registration: You may create an account to organize events (“Organizers”) or to purchase tickets to events (“Attendees”). You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.

Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us of any suspected unauthorized use.

2. Events, Orders & Tickets

Organizer Content: Organizers control their event pages, pricing, capacity, and ticket types. You represent you have the rights to post event content and that it is accurate, lawful, and not misleading.

Attendee Purchases: When you buy a ticket, you enter into a transaction with the Organizer. Joyneus provides the platform and checkout flow; the Organizer is responsible for event delivery, admission, and any Organizer-set refund or cancellation policies.

3. Payments via Stripe

Stripe Connect: Organizers must complete Stripe onboarding to accept payments. Payouts are made by Stripe to the Organizer’s connected account. Joyneus is not the merchant of record and does not hold Organizer funds.

Fees: Applicable platform and processing fees are shown at checkout or in your dashboard. Stripe’s terms, fees, and policies also apply to your use of Stripe services.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Joyneus to violate laws or third-party rights; upload malware; harass or abuse others; post illegal, infringing, or deceptive content; or interfere with the security or operation of the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

5. Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

6. Modifications to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. Where practical, we’ll provide notice, but we are not liable for such modifications.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor the accuracy of Organizer content or third-party services (including Stripe).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Joyneus and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, data, or goodwill; or other intangible losses arising from or relating to your use of the Service.
